I am starting off my journey as Exalted Ruler by already doing something a little unique. When deciding on April's Elk of the month, I already wanted to change things up slightly. I wanted to recognize not one or two but three individuals who are always willing to help out. These three ladies rarely get to enjoy our events because they are always volunteering their time to make sure our meals are served and served with a smile. They show up early for every event to assist the kitchen team to make sure all of our guests have a beautifully served meals and they don't stop there. They stick around and help with all of the clean up. To be honest I can't think of an event we have had in the past year or two where these ladies weren't volunteering their time in the kitchen.

They certainly deserve a shout out and a huge thank you. This month please join me in congratulating Barb Wesner, Jill Strauss and Cindy Manion for being April's Elk(s) of the month.
